All spectrophotometer cells are completely fused without the use of low melting intermediate glasses or cements. In other words, quartz is fused to quartz and glass is fused to glass. This eliminates strains due to differences in coefficients of expansion found in cells fused with intermediate low melting temperature glasses. Because of the fused construction, the window joints of ICL spectrophotometer cells are unaffected by all types of cleaning solutions.
ICL's economical polystyrene and polymethyl methacrylate ("PMMA") cuvettes offer superior optical performance coupled with the convenience of being disposable. Using disposable spectrophotometer cells eliminates cleaning and cross contamination.PMMA cuvettes transmit in the UV and VIS spectral range from 285nm to 750nm. The cell holder properly aligns the spectrophotometer cell in the beam of an IR or FTIR spectrophotometer. It fits the 2" x 3" universal slide mount in all IR and FTIR spectrophotometers.

The PTFE Magnetic Cell SpinRound fits into the standard 10mm rectangular cuvette style spectrophotometer cell and provides rapid vertical and horizontal mixing with minimum vortexing. Molded polypropylene Spectro Cell Rack holds twenty 10mm lightpath cuvette style spectrophotometer cells in two tiers with numbered square wells. The Cylindrical Cell Holder mounts fused silica cylindrical spectrophotometer cells in IR and FTIR spectrophotometers and properly aligns the cell in the path of the instrument’s beam. This vacuum operated spray device was designed for washing, rinsing and drying the interior of a UV-VIS cuvette style spectrophotometer cell. The cell washer head is made of polyethylene and the 500ml flask is made of polypropylene. The cell cleaner is capable of cleaning individual rectangular cells with lightpaths of 5mm, 10mm and 20mm.
